Mishmash…
We attended Alexa’s Back to School Night on Thursday. I’ve been slightly worried about her placement; worrying that maybe her autism was more advanced than the other kids and that perhaps she was not ready for the “Aspergersish” room afterall. As it turns out, Lex is rocking out, both literally and figuratively. She’s making the grade academically whilst keeping the instructional aide, Mr. Bing, entertained with a medley of Fall Out Boy songs. All things considered, I think Lex is happy in her new school.
Luke is also doing great. His greatest obstacle seems to be keeping the ladies at bay. David picked him up from daycare a couple of weeks ago to find him surrounded by a sea of bitches, circling around him like predatory jellyfish. Being a playah, he knows none of their names, of course, but boy do they all know him. I’m checking his sleeping bag for little girl drool and epithelium.
I have a nasty headache and feel like shit. Damn you, Mother Nature, and your godforsaken ragweed.
